These are hand woven coffins, and the choice is really a choice of material.
Natural willow is the warmest and most familiar, a soft honey colour. White willow is the same weave with a soft white finish, which is considerably lighter and calmer. Bulrush and willow combines the two, with bands of darker bulrush running through the willow to give a stronger texture. Bamboo is the smoothest and most even of the four.
Most are available either in the traditional coffin shape or as a teardrop, a gently curving shape with no hard shoulders that many families prefer.
All of them are woven by hand, so the texture varies from one to the next and no two are identical. All are biodegradable.
