Description
The Chatsworth is a medium oak veneered coffin with solid oak mouldings, finished to a high gloss.
The panelled sides are what most families notice first. Each panel is framed by the moulding in the traditional style, and the brass handles sit inside that frame rather than on plain timber, which keeps the lines of the coffin clean.
The double raised lid gives the Chatsworth its stepped profile. It is the detail that shows the depth of the mouldings most clearly when light catches it.
Medium oak has an open, flowing grain and a warm golden tone that a gloss finish brings out, so every Chatsworth looks a little different.
