Description
The Bolsover is a medium oak veneered coffin with solid oak mouldings and a high gloss finish.
Beading runs along the lid, a fine raised line that follows the shape of the coffin. It is a small detail but it is the one that lifts the Bolsover above a completely plain lid.
The Bolsover is shown here with chrome handles and fittings. Chrome reads cooler and more modern against oak than brass does, and it is worth seeing both before you decide.
Medium oak sits between the pale and the darker oaks, with a warm golden tone and an open grain that the gloss finish brings out.
